Roald Amundsen
"Scott for scientific method, Amundsen for speed and efficiency but when disaster strikes and all hope is gone, get down on your knees and pray for Shackleton."
Raymond Priestley
The history of the Napapijri brand starts with a discovery of the history of polar exploration, in which the protagonists were exceptional men like Amundsen, Pear Scak, and many others.
Heroes driven by a passion for those as yet unexplored and hostile territories.
Shackleton was an Anglo-Irish explorer.
On returning from his first Antarctic expedition (British Antarctic Expedition 1907 - 1909), which he commanded, he was knighted, invested as Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) and given an Order of the British Empire(OBE). Shackleton only became famous, however, after his second expedition (Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914 - 1916) during which, despite failure to cross the Antarctic continent and the crushing of the Endurance in the pack ice, he managed to bring back all the crew alive. - OUR HISTORY
