- This outdoor project takes its inspiration and name from the latitude of the Polar Circle and leads us to departing on a new journey.
Designed by Yoshinori Ono - a Japanese designer with extraordinary experience in technical garments and a strong cultural aptitude towards both functionality and latest trends – Napapijri 66°33' transcends mountains and cities to trace a modern line of innovation connecting Tokyo to other places around the world.
Napapijri 66°33' merges daily life, functionality and fashion, a metropolitan atmosphere and the call of the great outdoors. Contrasting elements bring about contamination between design details and Japanese "high-tech" fabrics.
Stylistic innovation, special fabrics (Japanese wools but also cotton combined with synthetic fibers which guarantee water resistance), outdoor inspirations that grow into specific details and functions.
A natural basis of wool and cottons to adapt to all needs and activities. Long and painstaking collaboration with Japanese textile producers for excellent quality in terms of both water resistance and breathability. A special lamination process developed for the Napapijri 66°33' project to enormously improves its functionality.
